TARGET AUDIENCE:
Vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists,
podiatric physicians, cath lab staff members, electrophysiologists, and wound care specialists
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss the incidence of infectious complications from percutaneous procedures.
• Recognize risk factors and undertake preventive measures in order to
minimize infections.
• Describe the outcomes and treatment options for patients with
post-procedure infections.
