- Describe the differences between acute and chronic wounds
- Compare and contrast the wound micro and macro environments
- Discuss the role of proteases in wound healing
- Identify recent evidence-based research
- Explain treatments and therapies that may manipulate the wound micro environment thus augmenting healing of chronic wounds
