Target Audience

This activity is designed for managed care professionals including medical directors, pharmacy directors, formulary directors, and other managed care physicians, and pharmacists.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Interpret and apply recent safety, efficacy, and cost data on available and emerging transplantation and pharmacologic treatment modalities for frontline multiple myeloma management
  • Chart the total costs of multiple myeloma treatment, including the management of comorbidities and adverse effects of therapy
  • Describe the potential impact of genetic testing on clinical outcomes and cost savings
  • Promote evidence-based and guideline-directed frontline multiple myeloma management practices among in-plan oncologists to optimize outcomes
