To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must completely read through each of the 4 articles, complete the 10-question online posttest with a score of 70% or better, and complete the evaluation form. After successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form online at www.naccme.com, participants may immediately print their documentation of credit.
There is no fee associated with this activity.
Participants who have successfully completed the live version of this activity at NYU on December 18, 2009 are not eligible to receive credit for these enduring materials.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the gap between current and optimal methods for randomized clinical trial (RCT) recruitment, including the type of patients targeted and how they are recruited
- Summarize the issues surrounding current methods of obtaining patient informed consent and opportunities for improvement
- Translate RCT data into clinical practice using the knowledge and tools gained for hands-on point-of-care strategies
- Adopt into current practice methods like patient questionnaires to capture quantitative data and improve patient care documentation and long-term outcomes
- Recognize the utility of standard and emerging disease measurement tools and physician quality reporting initiative (PQRI) quality measures in diagnosing and monitoring RA disease activity
- Describe the clinical nuances surrounding the development of a consensus that will define remission along the RA continuum of activity
